Lucknow: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are set to kick off their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 campaign against Delhi Capitals (DC) on March 24 at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The match will mark the beginning of an exciting journey for LSG under their newly-appointed captain Rishabh Pant.
IPL 2025 Format and Group Divisions
The 2025 edition of the IPL will follow the same format as the previous season, featuring 10 teams divided into two groups. LSG have been placed in Group 2 alongside SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), Gujarat Titans (GT), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Delhi Capitals (DC). Home Matches at Ekana Stadium
The Super Giants will host all their home matches at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The franchise will play seven matches at home, aiming to capitalize on familiar conditions to strengthen their campaign.

LSG will play three afternoon fixtures starting at 3:30 PM IST, while the rest of their league-stage matches are scheduled for 7:30 PM IST.
